June 22nd: Marie's Parachute Jump


I wouldn't. No danger. But Marie went for it. At about 7.30pm, at Strathallon Airfield near Auchterarder, she did a tandem parachute jump, leaping from a Cessna aircraft flying at just under 10,000 feet. The weather was touch and go for the jump and she ended up getting a sore face as she fell through a shower of hail stones. But it was worth it.


Nae turning back now.

After the jump. "Amazing!" Big thanks to Eddie and everyone at the Scottish Parachute Club who helped make it happen. Even when the weather tried to play up.

Tip off was that the colloquialism for that which Bob was trying to qualify size-wise is usually referred to as 'cojones' or even 'huevos'(in Mexico). Got the general tho...
