Mar 29th: Think Big And Reject Narrow Nationalism
In his speech to the Scottish Labour Party yesterday, Gordon Brown (above) has called on Scots to "think big and reject narrow nationalism". I wonder if this is the same Gordon Brown who seeks to introduce a British Day, Britishness Tests, a British Identity Card, and classroom pledges of allegiance to the British flag?
In the same speech Gordon Brown described Wendy Alexander - currently some 75 points behind Alex Salmond in a recent personal ratings poll - as "Scotland's next First Minister". I'm gonna have to check my diary to see if the 1st of April has been moved forward by 72 hours.

But did you check the faces on Wendy's labour 'colleagues', sitting behind Brown? It wasn't exactly a scene of resounding endorsement!
